Mentorship Program

The San Jose Bridge Club runs a voluntary mentorship program.    The intent of the program is that mentors will play with mentees and will coach them on improvements in their game.   In general, we expect that
1. Mentors/mentees will commit to play (online or face-to-face) a minimum of 3 times in a 3 month period, unless one or both determine that the relationship is not beneficial.
2. Mentors/mentees will spend some mutually agreed time before the first game to agree on their system and some time after each game to analyze over their results.
3. Mentees will pay the mentor's entry fee for the games, but are not expected to pay anything beyond that.
4. If you benefit from the program as a mentee, we hope that you will also sign up as a mentor to help others.

A current list of mentors and mentees with their preferred method of communication is included below.  If you want to establish a mentor/mentee relationship with anyone on the list below, you can communicate with that person directly.  If you want to be listed as a mentor or mentee in the program, please use the feedback form on the bottom right of the home page to communicate your wishes to the Unit Board.
