Bridge Basics 2 Competitive Bidding
Who: Beginners, and advanced beginners
Why: Continue learning the basics of bridge! This follow-on course to Bridge Basics 1 covers pre-emptive opening bids, weak 2’s, overcalls, take-out doubles, advances, and competitive auctions. Also, more on play and defense. We will play at least 4 hands every week.

CAMPBELL RECREATION OFFERS BRIDGE CLASS ON DEFENSE
You play defense 50% of the time -- twice as much as you are the declarer -- find out how to improve this aspect of your game! This class is meant for beginners, advanced beginners, and intermediates. Topics include opening leads, third hand play, second hand play, signals, interfering with declarer, and more....
Classes are on Tuesday nights 7:15-9:15pm; 9 weeks Sept 14 through Nov 16, but not Oct 12 (Columbus Day holiday); cost is $72; book extra.
