A new series of classes offered to advanced beginners by Faye Parsons (408)378-4719 and Judy Fisher (408)395-0032 from 3 to 5:15 p.m. on Mondays beginning April 28.
The classes, $10 apiece including handouts, will cover: (1) Rule of Twenty and hand evaluation (2) Stayman and Jacoby transfers & NT responses (3) Weak two bids and responses
(4) Take out doubles & negative doubles (5) Overcalls and responses (6) Leads & basic defense strategy (7) Strong 2 clubs and responses (8) Basic yellow convention card
Judy Clark, assisted by Wendy Dewell, is offering three sets of nine bridge classes in room C-35 of the Campbell Community Center.
On Thursdays from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. beginning June 26, for beginners, Bidding in the 21st Century, the ACBL Club Series
On Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. beginning June 28, for advanced beginners, Play of the Hand and, the ACBL Diamond Series.
On Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m. beginning June 28, for more advanced beginners, Defense in the 21st Century, the ACBL Heart Series.
Sign up with the City of Campbell if you are 18 or older for only $65 per class. Space is limited.
