Nights are getting cooler and longer as we head into the holiday season. Make a note that our unit’s holiday party is scheduled for Sunday, December 10. It’s a potluck with free play.
A unit game is scheduled, tentatively, for Sunday, November 5, at noon to celebrate the victory of Rose Meltzer-Johnson’s team in the Spingold. If you don’t know what that is, come out anyway, find out, and enjoy brunch and bridge.

Would you rather drive an hour to play in a local sectional starting at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.? I, for one, am discouraged by the trend to earlier games. If you have an opinion, call your local unit board member, preferably at 9 a.m.
