I’ve just returned from the California Capital Regional. It’s easy to find something to enjoy about this tournament, such as playing bridge, soaking up sun by the pool, eating at nearby restaurants with bridge friends. I have fond memories of becoming a Life Master there more than a few years back.
Other unit members should have good memories after their performances at the bridge table. On winning knockout teams were Li-Chung Chen, Don Nemiro and Diane Shannon. Winning in their Swiss stratifications were Lynn Shannon, Annette Powers, Alan Chase & Marc Epstein, and Rita Tingley. Alan & Marc also had a stratification top in a pairs game.
