Phyllis: San Ramon got food from local Safeway for hospitality. Caddies are ready. Donation containers perhaps set out instead of paying caddies. we get the big room this year. Newcomer games will be guaranteed with 3 tables showing up. Dan's getting cokes from Walgreens. Flyerss are ready for drop off at Regional. Dan e-mailed ad for Forum to Rich Luttrel.

Lynn: Donna's game 7 1/2 table, $269 for Cancer Society. Pro-Am 16 tables.

Jeff: next meeting Sun, Feb 18 9:30 Clarion Hotel. Election of officers, no opposition. All incumbents except Ron Scruggs instead of John Mormon for Treasurer. From September meeting: raising dues from $30 to $32. No electronic equipment allowed on playing floor at Nationals. ACBL considering restarting Collegiate Championships.

George: marketing survey he and Lynn will fill out for ACBL. He get statistical analysis every month and list of new members. Bob wants list of the new members.

Bob: he's been working on IN events with District specialists. Most tournaments don't have separate IN games at regional and sectionals. He gave out a hand-out of ideas to be discussed later. Suggests an IN sectional and weekly games with their own directors, hospitality, space, caddy, prizes, speakers, lessons, partnership desk; telephone and send cards before and after these events. Post polaroids of winners. Welcome packets. March 13th meeting to discuss this 5:30.

ACBL Youth committee: Dan talked to City College and SJState and they suggested a flyer posted in student union bldgs, not too excited about participation.

Unit Game: Mini-McKenney: April 8 12:30. May Pro-Am Swiss. Membership Game in June.

Memorial events can be listed at the sectional site for each game.

Art sugests leaving bids out longer after the auction. Until opening lead is made. This is standard in Europe. Neal sugest having Jeff present it at the District.
